The Rare One Project encompasses 6,500 hectares in British Columbia's Rocky Mountain Rare Earth Belt, within the Alkaline Province — a geological domain stretching over 1,000 km along the western flank of Ancestral North America that hosts multiple rare-earth-element and base-metal projects.
The project is positioned in the same belt as the Wicheeda Deposit (Defense Metals), which hosts 29.2 Mt of Measured and Indicated resource at an average grade of 2.27% TREO — a benchmark for what this geological setting can deliver.
Monazite — a phosphate mineral rich in light rare earth elements — has been identified as an effective pathfinder on the property. Soil geochemistry and gravity surveys revealed elevated REEs along with lead-zinc targets, giving the 2026 program a ranked target set to advance.
In the first phase of the 2026 field program, crews collected 24 stream-sediment samples and 21 rock samples across the property's drainage network — with several taken directly from the Fenwick Sill — all now delivered to the laboratory and pending assay results.
The program is designed to establish vectoring toward the source of the elevated rare-earth values in historical soil surveys, and to test whether the Fenwick Sill, coincident with a 6 km NW–SE geochemical anomaly subparallel to regional stratigraphy, represents a coherent geological source for REE enrichment across the property.
